The age old saying is "defense wins championships" and that is exactly what happened in Super Bowl 59. Much like what Tampa Bay did back in 2020, the Eagles defensive line had Mahomes running for his life all game long. The Eagles Defense DID NOT BLITZ the entire game and the defense tallied 6 Sacks, 2 Interceptions, 1 Pick-Six, and a Forced Fumble and pressured Patrick Mahomes on more than half his drop backs. The Eagles defense proved too much for the Kansas City Offense and allowed Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts to shine. The Eagles steamroll the Chiefs 40-22. Is this the start of a New Dynasty in the NFL?
